Vincent Van Gogh spent the last few months of his prolific life as a painter in Auvers-sur-Oise, France. I visited there and was able to walk the same roads that he walked and painted on. An inspirational journey, to say the least, for a painter of landscapes. He painted along this road that leads through the fields to his grave where he is buried next to his beloved brother, Theo.
This is painted on a linen panel and is varnished. I have not framed this painting making it easier to ship.
